Privacy and local data

What JustBuild stores on your device and which external services the website requests.

Updated 10 October 2026. Questions about this page can be sent to contact@justbuild.world.

Worlds and settings on your device

The game stores world saves and settings in your browser's local storage. There is no account or cloud-save service. Exporting a world code creates a copy you can keep or share; the export utility does not upload it.

You can remove local data through your browser's site-data controls. This also removes saved worlds, so export a backup first. Private browsing or storage restrictions may prevent persistence.

Website analytics

We use Simple Analytics to understand visits and how often visitors open the game, start a world and place their first block. The integration sends fixed event names, not world names, seeds, world codes, block coordinates or gameplay recordings.

Simple Analytics describes its service as cookie-free and does not store visitors' IP addresses. Its data collection documentation explains the information it collects. Blocking the analytics request does not prevent playing.

Fonts and website delivery

The game page requests fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google's font services, which receive network information including your IP address. See Google Fonts and privacy. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes requests to serve and protect it; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Email and shared codes

If you contact us by email, your address and message are available to us so we can respond. A world code can include its name and saved state. Share one only when you intend the recipient to have a copy.
