GUIDE
Your first world
Choose terrain, learn the controls and place your first blocks in JustBuild.World's free creative sandbox.
Choose a landscape
Open the game and choose one of six terrain presets. Classic Isles has plains, forests and coastlines; Vertical Dreams has mountains; Shattered Isles has small islands; Sunscorched Dunes has deserts; Frozen Reach has snow; Deep Canopy has dense forests.
Give your world a name. Leave Seed blank for a random landscape, or enter a seed to repeat the starting terrain. Select Create world and wait for generation to finish.

Touch devices have on-screen movement and build controls. Use the move control to walk, drag the view to look, and use the Place, Break, Jump and Fly buttons. The hotbar and block picker can be tapped. Device performance and browser support vary.
Place a small floor
- Find a clear patch of ground and press E to open the block picker.
- Search for Oak Planks and select them for your active hotbar slot. Close the picker.
- Point at the ground. Right-click places a block against the face you are looking at.
- Place a three-by-three floor. If a block lands in the wrong place, remove it or undo the edit.
- Press F to fly around it and check your work.
The outline shows the targeted block and face. Stairs and half-blocks have their own shapes; where you aim affects their placement. Start with a small test before building a whole roof.
Build something you can return to
Try the seven-by-nine starter house for a complete floor, walls, windows and roof. There is no live multiplayer: a shared world code gives another player their own copy.
